How to choose a club, tutor or coach

A new leaflet produced by the ESCB, Essex County Council and Active Essex provides parents and carers with guidance on how to keep their children safe when looking for a coach, club or tutor for their child. You can access the guidance document here.

Young Voices 2017

For the 4th year in a row, the St. Cedd’s Singing Club headed to the O2 arena to take part in the wonderful Young Voices concert. This year we have 25 budding singers singing and dancing to a wide range of songs from the Pop Medley, Rock Medley, traditional folk tunes from around the UK, Birdhouse in your Soul and the children even learnt to sing and sign (using British Sign Language) “You’re the Voice”.

It was an incredible evening and the children were superb. It was great to see the friends and family sitting in the audience below enjoying themselves also, some of us even spied them joining in with some of the songs and dancing along!

I would like to congratulate the children on their fantastic efforts and months of practicing – it definitely paid off on the night. I would also like to thank the parents/carers on their support – it was wonderful to see so many of you there supporting us.

We look forward to begin preparing for Young Voices 2018!!
